About an Angola Visa
An Angola Visa is a simple document which allows you to enter into any country of selection without any legal constraints. However, before that, ensure whether you require a visa or not. The Republic of Angola has stated the following countries whose residents are eligible to travel to Angola free of visa (Angola visa-free countries) whilst also the nationals of these countries who require an Angola visa (Angola visa non-exerciseable) prior to traveling to Angola.
These are the Republic of Algeria, the Republic of Benin, Botswana, Burundi, Comperador Guinea, Cote D’Ivoire, Egypt, Gambia, Ghana, India, Mauritania, Namibia, Nigeria, Mauritius, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saint Lucia, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda and the United States of America. There are other minor nations like those mentioned above, but they do not have a recognized position in the Visa Free Traveler Program. Therefore, they may still be required to apply for an Angola visa before they embark on their travel to Angola. In addition to the application form, the applicant also needs to present his or her original passport and a copy of the relevant insurance documents. This last requirement is the most important requirement to fulfill when it comes to fulfilling Angola visa requirements.
For tourists who wish to apply online, the process is also very easy. When you visit the Namibia’s immigration website, you can select from the Namibia visa requirements that you need to fulfill. You just need to provide basic information such as name and passport number. All these information are then processed by the immigration authorities and your application form will be automatically posted to the embassy of your choice. You can also choose to apply online for the pre-visa and the post-visa, or you can apply in person. However, you have to make sure that you’re in the country on the approved date in order to apply online.
If you have to visit the Namibia border, you’ll have to follow specific rules and regulations. The pre-visa process doesn’t allow tourists to stay in contact with family and friends who are travelling along the same route. Once you reach the Namibia border, you will need to hand over your passport and visa documentation to the Border Traffic Police at the Namibia border. The officials at the checkpoint will then issue you a visa upon your handover. This is also a convenient time to organize your flights to Angola, since the airport in Luzira is situated just 5 km from the Zambian border.
The duration of the pre-visa or the transit visa is two to five years. However, there’s no limit on the number of times you can stay in Luzira, even for longer. Your family members, along with anybody accompanying you, can stay for a much longer period as long as you have an unbroken stay visa.
