This visa is valid for 30 days and you can extend it up to 60 days more for a total of 90 days maximum. It will cost you 5000 Malawi kwacha (MWK) to extend your visa for 30 days and 10000MWK for 60 days.
If you hold an onward ticket to the third country and have a maximum of 24 hours transit time, you can transit without a visa through the country. However, citizens of few countries need to have a visa irrespective of their transit time period.
